Establishment
& Development
In 1989, a small family
based company was formed on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia
by the name of Thermatech Marketing Group Pty. Ltd.
Thermatech was originally set up to manufacture
and distribute a wide range of surface coatings and acrylic paints
for the building industry both in Australia and abroad.
Diversifying into different forms of ‘coatings’,
Thermatech invested many years researching and developing a coating
system specifically designed for E.P.S (Expanded Polystyrene).
This specialised coating was to be used externally for decorative
mouldings and features in the construction industry. A coating
that would uniquely bind itself to the E.P.S yet combines a "render"
look protective coating with flexibility to absorb structural
movement on a variety of substrates. Thermatech is a Quality Assured
Company, totally committed to continued excellence in professionalism,
value for money, and quality of product and customer satisfaction.

Managing
Director is Peter Bone with his two sons Christopher and Carlton
as Directors, collectively having over 60 years experience in the
building and construction industry.
From manufacture, distribution and sales to service and technical
support, we have a good blend of ‘hands on’ practical people working
together with a common purpose.
The importance of research and development is demonstrated by the
strength of our Industrial Chemists, heading the team is a graduate
from Europe with over 30 years industry experience.
